Prof. Chia-Ling Chien (William H. Miller III Department of Physics & Astronomy, Johns Hopkins University) visited us.
In the morning, we held a seminar with Prof. Chien, where Matsuda-san (Project Assistant Professor), Uesugi-san (D3), and Matsuo-san (D2) gave presentations on their research.
In the evening, we had a colloquium in Department of Physics, where Prof. Chien gave us a talk titled "Half Quantum Flux in Spin Triplet Superconductors." He showed us very beautiful results on the experiments of spin triplet superconductors.
We spent precious time with Prof. Chien, actively discussing physics both in the seminar and the colloquium.
