Mr. Mihiro Asakura (2nd-year PhD) and Mr. Takumi Matsuo (PhD course at Johns Hopkins Univ.) showcase their research at the APS Global Physics Summit (joint March and April APS Meeting), the largest physics research conference worldwide. The conference is held from March 16–21, 2025, in Anaheim, CA, USA. Asakura-san gave an invited talk based on his recent publication on omnidirectional exchange bias at the all-antiferromagnetic heterointerface. Matsuo-san also delivered an oral presentation on his recent progress in spin-orbit torque control of Mn3Sn. The details of their presentations are as follows:
Mihiro Asakura, Tomoya Higo, Takumi Matsuo, Yutaro Tsushima, Shun'ichiro Kurosawa, Ryota Uesugi, Daisuke Nishio-Hamane, Satoru Nakatsuji
"Manipulation of chiral magnetic order by interfacial magnetic coupling"
Takumi Matsuo, Tomoya Higo, Daisuke Nishio-Hamane, Takuya Matsuda, Ryota Uesugi, Hanshen Tsai, Kouta Kondou, Shinji Miwa, Yoshichika Otani, Satoru Nakatsuji
"Thermal contribution to the spin-orbit torque control of the antiferromagnetic order in the Weyl semimetal Mn3Sn"
